Built From
Real Life.
A story about longevity, discipline, recovery, optimization, and becoming fully present for the life that matters most.
This isn't a brand built in a boardroom. It's built in the middle of real life. Real mornings. Real pressure. Real growth. Real purpose. This is the why behind GOAT.
Everything We Build.
Comes Back To This.
The Wake-Up Call.
At 40 years old, I began to understand that the human body is not something we are supposed to neglect until it breaks. It is a gift. A platform. A vessel we move through life in, raise our children in, build our dreams in, and experience every moment of existence through.
Yet somewhere along the way, modern life taught us to disconnect from it. We became overstimulated, exhausted, distracted, and reactive. We learned how to survive, but forgot how to truly feel alive.
For years, I lived inside that cycle myself — constantly building, constantly chasing, constantly carrying pressure while slowly drifting further away from clarity, focus, energy, and presence.
From the outside, life looked exciting. Living between the Island, North Vancouver and Squamish, shredding the backcountry, mountain biking through the forests of the North Shore, training before sunrise, surrounded by nature and movement. But internally, I was mentally overloaded and physically exhausted in ways that no amount of sleep could fix.
Health Stopped Being About Vanity.
It became about longevity.
More years feeling strong.
More years mentally sharp.
More years with energy in my body and clarity in my mind.
Family Changed Everything.
Everything changed when I started looking at life through the eyes of my family. My 13-year-old son was becoming a young man right in front of me. My six-month-old baby was sleeping in my arms while my wife and I talked about the future and the possibility of another baby boy someday.
In those quiet moments, I realized something that honestly shook me: I was building a future I was not fully healthy enough, focused enough, or present enough to truly experience.
That realization changed the way I viewed health forever. It stopped being about appearance or vanity. It became about longevity.
The Obsession With Optimization.
That pursuit led me into a deep obsession with human optimization. Training, recovery, nutrition, peptides, metabolic health, sleep science, nervous system regulation, longevity research — not because I wanted shortcuts, but because I wanted to understand how to create a stronger, healthier, more capable version of myself over time.
I wanted to wake up energized instead of depleted. I wanted to think clearly instead of living inside constant mental noise. I wanted to move through life with intention instead of feeling like modern life was slowly draining the life out of me.
The deeper I went into that world, the more frustrated I became with the experience surrounding it. Everything felt cold, generic, and clinical.
That Frustration Became GOAT.
